Volunteer at Compeer. It Changes You. What does it take to make the world a better place?  You-- and only a few hours of time.  

It’s so easy. Compeer pairs you with someone who is looking for a friend and mentor; someone to hang out with and do things together that you already do for fun.   Compeer Gulf Coast is backed by a national friends and mentor program that believes volunteers just like you can make all the difference in the lives of people in the local area living with mental illness.   

Typically, you spend about 4 hours per month together in the community. It is you doing the things you regularly enjoy, and sharing that with someone who truly appreciates your time and company. It adds to their lives and, most certainly, it will add to yours.   Everybody wins.
